Financial assistance Financial grant from District Social Welfare Committee: Application can be made on white paper for receiving grant up to a maximum of Tk 10,000/- (ten thousand) from District Social Welfare Committee, Lakshmipur. Attested photocopy of national identity card, proof of the problem mentioned in the application form should be submitted along with the application. The grant can be applied for in the following cases. 1. Destitute poor person or family affected by sudden calamity/ natural calamity 2. Destitute poor person or family seriously affected by road/sea/rail accident3. Poor people or families affected by fire4. Medical assistance to poor persons or families of fire/acid burns 5. Access to medical assistance for poor people suffering from terminal and complex diseases6. Obtaining assistance for the education of meritorious students from very poor families7. Grant assistance to the affected immediately considering the situation
